Her name is Reba. Reba had a rough time growing up. She had traumatic experiences physically, emotionally and sexually. She was adopted, was the only black girl in a white school, had no friends and her brother lived in a group home. So many times she was told “you can’t do it, you can’t think for yourself” etc. due to the many issues and struggles she had experienced, because of this she felt unloved and worthless. The bullying she received led to drug abuse, lack of education (as she avoided the bus to school and classes) and suicidal thoughts. Her life is now completely turned around with the help of teachers and new friends who encouraged her - letting her know she is loved and worth it. She is a survivor.
